Course Description:Solution of solvable systems.Application of and avoidance from numerical methods.Definition of bunch of techniques and their beyond recognition convergence theories. numerical differentiation and integration with differentiable and integrable systems

Week 2 - Photoshop

- essentials of curve manipulation
- graph coloring
- photoshop demo


Week 3-4 Linear systems

- solution of linear systems if the solution is known
- generation of pseudo solutions
- gaussian elimination by hand


Week 5-7 Nonliear systems

- generation of nonlinear systems via linear systems
- how to find someone to beg for solving your nonlinear problem
- urban legend: matlab solves everything
- newtons method and nonsense


Week 8 Numerical Differentiation

- finding 7 difference between two images (that have numbers on them)
- finite difference for indifferent functions

Week 9 Numerical Integration

- trapezoid rule
- zigot rule
- zamazingo rule


Week 10 ODE solution

- runge-kutta method
- ronaldo method

Week 11-13 PDE solution

- jacobi method
- boheme method

Midterms: There are 2 midterms and a final. Midterms are 30 % of the Final and Final is 120 % of the Homeworks

Homework: Homework is 40 % of overall grade. Best HW is 15 % of overall Homework but 20% of the second midterm.

Grading: 1 AA, 2 BA, 3 BB, 4 CB, 5 CC, 6 DC, 7 DD and rest is F
